NOT block exclusions via secondary key
NOT block exclusions now also applies when keys are different.
The NOT block can now have several keys as input. The exclusion only works if the primary key of the ‘exclude’ selection block corresponds to a secondary key of the incoming selection block.
From the source Interact, 1,000 records are selected on key AccountID. On this selection, a list of opt-outs must be excluded where the list is based on the key E-mail. Because the source (Interact) also recognizes the E-mail key, the opt-out list does not need to be switched to AccountID key first, it can be directly linked to the NOT block. This allows the user to reduce the number of key switches and/or snapshots in selection trees.
Field data type included in export (Excel)
From now on, the field type of columns that have been mapped are included in the export file (Excel). The following field types are available within the Ternair Marketing Cloud:
Excel recognizes these field types and shows the options available for these fields> So, for example, date and numeric (decimal and integer) sorting can be done directly by date or numeric value in excel.
N.B. Depending on the used Excel language (EN or NL), the output format of the field must be taken into account. For example which separator is used for decimals (point or comma).
Online viewer and landing pages served from your own (custom) domain
After images and hyperlinks in e-mails, the custom domain (if configured) is now also applied to the online viewer of an e-mail and hyperlinks to landing pages.
See Domains for more details.
Update global template and snippet library
The global template and snippet library has been updated and expanded (recognizable by the globe icon). These templates and snippets are maintained by Ternair and can be used directly by users to create an e-mail.
See email – snippets for more details.
