If you have activated the 360° customer view module in Ternair, you can see the filling of the 360° customer view here. In this module, you can load various data sources. These are customers and characteristics (Tags). The dashboard shows the total number of customers, the sources that have been read in including the corresponding deduplication. Finally, an overview of the most common attributes and the percentage of customers that have such an attribute is shown.
Total relations: This number shows the number of customers.
Engagement: This number shows how many customers you approached – up to 2 years back.
Top 3: shows the top 3 tags in order of what is known. 80% eye colour known, for example, means: Eye colour 80%
Via the hamburger menu (the 3 dots), you have the option to go to two different dashboards:
- The Overview dashboard
- The profile dashboard
Overview dashboard
The 360° customer view overview dashboard contains several widgets that display information about the customers from the 360° customer view.
Unique customers: This number represents the number of unique, deduplicated customers.
Gross records: The number of gross read-in customers, these are generally more than the net number because the same customer can appear in multiple source systems or even multiple times in the same source system (contamination in the source).
Deduplicated: This number indicates the degree of deduplication and is the percentage of the numbers from Unique customers and Gross rows.
A date/period can be selected in the Records flow.
The default value of this filter is:
From: system date – 6 months, first day of that particular month. For example: if the system date equals 28 January 2025 then the From date is 1 July 2024
To: always the system date
Based on this date, the chart shows the following information: The number of (net) accounts on that specific date. For this, it looks at the creation date.
Under Source systems, there is a drop-down list of all sources used in the 360° customer view. By default, all defined sources are selected.
For each source, the number of records processed from that source is shown. This is the number of records from this source in the mdb.accountSource table. The sum of all these numbers should equal the number of unique customers, if all sources are selected in the drop-down list.
Next to the number of records is, for each source, the percentage that source has in the total number of gross records. The sum of all percentages must equal 100 if all sources in the dropdown list are selected.
Tags shows the unique attribute types and the tags defined under them.
Records indicates the number of unique accounts that carry this tag.
The percentage indicates the number of unique customers that have this attribute.
360° customer view profile dashboard
On the 360° customer view profile dashboard, it is possible to view the profile associated with each e-mail address.
